French Vogue Editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld resigns!

Me and Carine Roitfeld in Paris after Celiné FW 2010/2011 show. She's such a great person with a warm personality!

Carine Roitfeld with her daughter Julia Restoin-Roitfeld

I had a perfect time yesterday with some friends at some bar in city with beer and perfect music. Today when I woke up (or you can say that I forced myself to wake up), I read on twitter that THE wonderful Carine Roitfeld resigns at French Vogue!

Carine Roitfeld
became Editor-in-chief for French Vogue 2001, so after ten years of holding that position, she resigns. It's a terrible news and I'm sure that it came as a chock for the whole fashion industry ... but you know what ... Carine has done her best job at French Vogue ... and I appreciate that. She's amazing and I'm sure that this is'nt the end for her, she'll become something bigger (if it's possible, which I think it is!).

The big question mark is, who's next? Who will take over Carine Roitfeld as Editor-in-chief for French Vogue? It better be a good one, otherwise I won't read (I cannot read french, but I'm reading the pics instead!) the magazine!

Jason Wu Pre-Fall AW 2011/2012

The Pre-Fall collections for Fall/Winter 2011/2012 are slowly coming out, even though, the designers make huge changes before they have their fahionshows for the editors, stylists etc etc ... But what I've seen yet, I'm in love ... I really look forward for AW 2011/2012!

This is some of the pieces from Jason Wu's Pre-Fall AW 2011/2012 collection. Jason Wu is only 28 years old and has already dressed famous people as the first Lady of United States of America Michelle Obama and the ex wife of Donald Trump, Ivana Trump!

I can't say that I love Jason Wu, but he surprises me a lot ... sometimes in a good way and sometimes in a bad way. On the first look of his Pre-Fall collection I loved it, but on the second look I thought that some of the pieces in it look a little bit old. Like he has designed for old ladies or something in that direction.

What I love with these pieces is that it looks expensive, it looks chic and feminine but he still uses some masculine elements as the wide pants. I love his color pallet (Even strangers know that I love black, and Wu has used it a lot in this collection, but it's not all black, and that is a good thing! He has used colors as red, beige, navy blue, purple and for me these colors can be associated with fall).

My favourite piece in this collection is ofc the navy blue chiffon dress. I actually love chiffon because of the movement it has, and that dress will definitely become a show-stopper!

Jason Wu is a young talent and his Pre-Fall collection will probably rock! I look forward to see the whole finale AW 2011/2012 collection from him.
